MODEL: Nicolas Duchene. France, 20th century. Mirecourt school. It has the original maker's stamp (triangular shape).

DIMENSIONS: the length of the soundboard is 36.7 cm.

MATERIALS: the wood used is maple. The beater and the nut are made of ebony. The luthier used hardwood for the chinrest and pegs.

FINISH: it has an aged dark red color. The top is in one piece and has two colors.

CONDITION: it is set up and ready to play. It has the typical signs of age on the lower lid. All cracks are sealed.

SOUND: the sound is a bit dark, but also sweet and rich. It is very comfortable to play in the high register and has a good projection.
